I hope those who celebrated had a great Christmas :-). I know you are anxious for some homework, do here goes your first response choice:
Describe your favorite character from your literature circle book. What are some traits you like about this character? Do they remind you of yourself or someone else in your life? What role do they play in the plot of your story?
Your blog post needs to contain:
1. The answers to my questions
2. Specific evidence from the text
3. Complete sentences
4. Proper grammar and spelling
5. At least 3 sentences
You need to post at least once over break. I will post more options in the next few days. You can get extra credit if you provide a thoughtful and respectful response to a classmate's post.

Becoming Naomi Leon
ReplyDeleteMy favorite character in my literature circle book is Naomi Leon. She is my favorite character because she knows what is going on and she is confident. People at her school talk about her last name Outlaw. Naomi said she is good at making list so she made of comebacks to say the boys that made fun of her last name. I also that Naomi is brave because she didn't cry when people made fun of her name. Naomi doesn't remind me of anybody. Naomi Leon Outlaw is the main character of the story.

DeleteMy favorite character from my literature circle book is Despereaux because he is very brave. Despereaux is brave because he was willing to go back to the dungeon for the Princess Pea. He also went back to the foot of the king just to try and save her. He also went back to the library when he knew it would get him in trouble.

DeleteMy book is " The Lightning Theif" The main characters are Percy Jackson and Grover. One of the settings are at Camp Half-Blood. In my opinion lightning their isn't a good book to me at first by the title and how my group said it was a good book i gave it a try but actually it didn't end up being was good as they describe it.

What I like about Despereaux is that he can be dependable, he loves to read, and he didn't care about what his family said about him. Despereaux played the part as a hero trying to save Princess Pea.

ReplyDeleteMy Literature circle book is called "Becoming Naomi Leon." The characters are Gram, Owen, Skyla, and Naomi. My favorite character is Naomi because she tries to stay strong for Gram, and Owen. The traits I like about this character is that she is Humble, Smart, and Nice. Naomi kind of reminds me of me sometimes because she wants to set an example for others, just like me. The role the Naomi plays is that she is the main-character so things kind of surround her, because its all about her.

ReplyDeleteMy book is ''bone dance'' by Marsha Brooks(boring book so far).My main character is Alexandria and she finds out that her father left her in her cabin alone when he died.I would say Alexandria has a kind personality but a curios/strange mind.

He reminds me of my dad he is always trying to help me in anyway he can. In the book his dad did everything he can do to make his son play soccer. My dad still tried to make me the best he can

My main character is August . when he was born he didnt come out looking like a regular person , Theres something wrong with him . he always get sick . He had 27 surgeries and he's only 10 . Thats alot right ? August can't go to school because he always get sick . his mother wanted him to start school for his fifth grade year .
