Happy (freezing) Tuesday!
This week I want you all to think about making connections as you read. There are several things you can make a connection to:
1. A personal event in your life
2. Another book or movie
3. A global event
Please choose at least on thing to make a connection to. Explain what the connection is and how it helps you understand the story better.
Your blog post needs to contain:
1. The answers to my questions
2. Specific evidence from the text
3. Complete sentences
4. Proper grammar and spelling
5. At least 5 sentences
Remember all posts get emailed to my phone and it is very easy to forward them on to whomever needs to see them.

DeleteMy book is Shiloh and it reminds me of my cousin. We were playing and we ran down to the park .While my cousin was playing he found this frog. When we were in the house his mom told him he couldn't keep it so he made it a fort just like Marty did and he would feed it. So his mom let him keep the frog.Like Marty kept feeding Shiloh and cared for him.
ReplyDeleteMy book Hunger Games connects to when I play video games because you must survive to win. Another thing it connects me to is when you sacrifice yourself for someone you care about or love that's what I would do for my sister or mother because I love them both and care for them to much to see them get hurt they would do the same as well that's what Katniss did to protect her sister from the Hunger Games

ReplyDeleteThe book I am reading relates to me because I feel that I get different emotions quickly also. I feel that way because I'm easily upset. It helps me understand the because Eva is always upset and Addie is cheerful (at most times.). I also understand this story better because Eva is trapped inside and has no one feel her pain. Sometimes I don't feel the best ways either.
